3/2/11 - Ranunculus 1

Because Tuesday is grocery day, Wednesday is my flower day.  Bought a potted ranunculus yesterday during our weekly grocery trip.  Nathan picked the pink...I had been leaning towards the red, but you know. I'm apparently a pushover.

Here's hoping that there will be many pictures of the ranunculus this year.  I have this special gift for killing potted plants.  When I'm in charge..you can't be sure the plant is going to survive the week.  As you can see, there are a few buds on the plant.  I really hope that I can keep the plant alive long enough for them to open so I can get at least 1 more flower to photograph.

    Very pretty! Hope the buds open for you -- are you able to put it outside? Probably would like some sun, but then you can't forget to water it. BTW -- how is the African violet? Still alive? I like that you let Nathan pick.
