Nathan has been going this way for a long time, but it is official.....he can swing on his own. He has been able to swing on his own for a while, but now he doesn't even ask me to help him on the swing or to push at all. For the first time ever (at the park) he chose the regular swing over the lazy man's blue swing. He jumped on all by himself and took that swing to its height limit. He's getting SO big!
He also learned to snap today which I'm really proud of. I was sure it would be a few more years until he'd be able to snap his fingers...but today he got it. It's quiet, but it is definitely a snap. I don't have a photo of this....but did manage to get a short video.
So he is growing and learning so fast -- officially two major accomplishments. Someday I'll have to teach him to whistle! I remember the first time I took him to the swings. It was your birthday, Amber, and he was 6 months old. I have wonderful pictures of him smiling and enjoying it so much. Now he can swing on his own. What a big boy!
