The cherry trees have blossomed! There is a very brief period of about 2 weeks where the beautiful cherry trees at the park near our house bloom. I have wanted to get a decent picture of them ever since we first moved here, but I always manage to miss it. Today, I made sure to pack my camera in my car before work so that I could stop at the park on my way home before picking up Nathan.
Sadly, the strong winds and harsh sun made it difficult to get the shots the way I wanted them, but I did get several that I like. Here's one.
I love it too. Wish we had some of those around here!

ReplyDeleteWow -- what wonderful color! It's kinda grey around here, so some spring color is so welcome!
ReplyDeleteWhen do the purple flowers bloom?
ReplyDeletePurple flowers bloom in March. I'll have to make a trip out there soon to check on them.
ReplyDeleteYou're far ahead of us for cherry blossom season. We'll get the azaleas in a few weeks, apricots in about three weeks or a month, then cherry blossoms mid-April followed closely by the magnolias and roses. That's my favorite time of year in Korea.
