9/8/11 - Homemade Light Box

I have a friend who wanted me to do some product photos for them.  I have never done product photos before, but I'm pretty familiar with what goes into them. 

He wanted the high key look....so it was time, I finally made that light box I've been meaning to make for about 2 years now. 

I actually made two different versions of the box.  The first photo is a test shot from the first....a simple cardboard box with tissue paper to diffuse the flash.  I include it because the test shot cracks me up.

The 2nd is the box I actually went with.  The 2nd box is made of white foam board taped together and desk lamps lighting the inside of the box.   It creates a pretty good consistent light.
