Went to a new grocery store yesterday and they had fresh dates there. I love dates but I've never had fresh ones so I picked them up. They're very tasty as is...but I read that if you let them sit for a while they get sweeter and sweeter. They're kinda pretty too.
I don't know that I've ever seen fresh dates. Dried dates are a bit too sweet for me -- crazy, huh? They do make a pretty picture -- and are probably delicious!
